HID RPK40 multiCLASS Readers

HID RPK40 multiCLASS readers with keypads are multi-technology readers, which means they are able to read diferent technologies, ranging from proximity formats to iCLASS cards. The purpose of the RPK40 multiCLASS reader is so that it is easier for a business to convert their cards to iCLASS technologies in single or multiple facilities over time.

HID RPK40 readers use mutual authentication and data encryption to offer enhanced security. Some of the technologies that are supported by the HID RPK40 multiCLASS Readers include Indala, Corporate 1000, and FlexSecur. The multiCLASS family, which includes the HID RPK40 multiCLASS readers, are able to provide iCLASS security, along with proximity and smart card technologies The RPK40 reader has a keypad, great for dual authentication.
