HID RP40 multiCLASS Readers

HID RP40 multiCLASS readers are multi-technology readers, which means they are able to read different technologies, ranging from proximity formats to iCLASS cards. The purpose of the RP40 multiCLASS reader is so that it is easier for a business to convert their cards to iCLASS technologies in single or multiple facilities over time.

HID multiCLASS readers use mutual authentication and data encryption to offer enhanced security. Some of the technologies that are supported by the HID RP40 Readers include Indala, Corporate 1000, and FlexSecur. The multiCLASS family, which includes the HID RP40 multiCLASS readers, are able to provide iCLASS security, along with proximity and smart card technologies.
