HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB Desktop Readers

The HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB desktop readers are USB smart card and biometric readers. Logical access control systems with high security demands that require two or three factor authentication should use the HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB desktop readers. The HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB desktop readers integrate seamlessly with the contact interface of any HID Crescendo card. Biometric match-on-host solutions, where fingerprints are matched to a previously enrolled template are easily supported by the HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB desktop readers. Using the contact interface with a smart card enables match-on-card solutions, which match and authenticate the swipe sensor fingerprint read with the template on the card, which is equivalent to storing a PIN number. Some applications that are well suited for the HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB desktop readers are single sign-on, online banking, or digital signature applications.
