HID MIFARE/Prox Cards : FlexSmart Series

HID MIFARE card mixes smart card and proximity technology. The HID MIFARE Prox card is great for a multitude of applications such as event ticketing, customer loyalty, access control, and more. With the ability to use different keys to protect read/write operations, key hierarchies in the system can easily be built. This card is ideal for companies that want to add MIFARE smart card applications to an already existing HID proximity access control system.

The data on HID MIFARE Prox cards are protected with encryption keys used in the mutual authentication process. This means that data isn't shared between the card and the reader until the passwords and authentication have been verified. For additional security on the HID MIFARE Prox cards, specifically visual security, anti-counterfeiting features such as ultra-violet fluorescent inks, holograms, and other methods are available to produce unique cards.
