HID FlexSmart 1456 DESFire Tags

The HID DESFire tags are adhesive tags that can easily act like a contactless smart card. Just attach the DESFire tags to a non-metallic surface, such as a PDA or cell phone, or to an existing contact smart card to instantly make a contactless smart card tag. Some applications that the HID DESFire tags could be found in are access control, public transportation, customer loyalty, and more. DESFire data can be encrypted with highly secure Data Encryption Standard (3DES) algorithm which keeps the data secure through the whole transaction.
