DATACARD® SP SERIES and SP PLUS SERIES CARD PRINTERS

Ribbons for use in Datacard® SP Series card printers are available in ribbon kits, which includeone print ribbon, one adhesive cleaning sleeve, and one isopropanol cleaning card. All SP and SPPlus Series ribbons are provided on our distinctive blue cores with platinum flecks®.

Whether you have an ImageCard® desktop card printer or a Datacard 7000 or 9000 central issuance card printer, Datacard full color ribbons produce clear, true-to-life photos, barcodes, logos, text, and more. Specifically designed for Datacard printers, all print ribbons have system-matched performance that meet the same high standards of guaranteed quality as your printer, with reliability you can count on. All ribbons are applied by a process called Thermal Transfer. Ribbons pass under a thermal printhead which transfers the image onto the surface of a PVC card or an InTM material that is then thermally attached to the surface of a PVC card.
