Datamax S-Class Tickets and Tags Datamax labels come in direct thermal only.  Direct thermal labels do not require the use of a ribbon.  Please refer here if you would like to learn more about direct thermal labels. The Datamax ST-3210, SV-3210, and ST-3306 are able to print direct thermal labels only.  The S-Class printers take roll or fan-fold tickets and tags.  The media width for the S-Class ranges from 1.9 inches to 3.25 inches.  The maximum print width ranges from 3.15 inches to 3.2 inches, depending on the specific model.  To see the differences between the printers, please refer to the chart below.
