The M-Class is built on a uni-frame, die-cast aluminum chassis, increasing the printer's durability throughout a lifetime of high performance output. The truly modular design of the M-Class, unique to Datamax printers, allows options to be installed and removed in the field. Multiple Interfaces
While a printer's design and construction is key to its durability, the ability to interface with an existing or new system is what enables truly seamless integration into any application. Standard connectivity interfaces for the M-Class include an RS-232 serial port, an IEEE 1284 compliant, bi-directional parallel port, and a USB port. Network users have many options, including a fully integrated, highly functional internal Ethernet card, or a more economical external Ethernet port. Datamax also offers DMXConfig, a desktop configuration tool that allows users to retrieve, modify, and update the printer's configuration without entering the printer's menu. Printer settings can be saved and sent to multiple printers if the application requires.
